Ceramics, Crowns, Bridges and Veneers

Ceramic Restorations

Ceramic restorations, cerecs, inlays, onlays and partial crowns are an alternatives to large fillings. The terms are often used interchangeably although there are slight differences between them. They are all made of ceramic, have excellent aesthetics and are a stronger, long lasting alternative to fillings.

Crowns

Dental crowns encase a tooth to restore it to its previous form, function and appearance. A crown may be considered the optimum treatment for a tooth that is weakened due to trauma, decay or from extensive dental treatment such as a history of large fillings or root canal treatment. Dental crowns are handmade and have superior strength and aesthetics.

Bridges

If you are missing one or two adjacent teeth a bridge may be an option for replacement of these teeth. A bridge involves one or more crowns on teeth either side of the gap to support the replacement tooth. Replacement of missing teeth can restore aesthetics and function to your smile as well as preventing teeth either side of the gap from collapsing in.

Veneers

Veneers are a fast and very aesthetic solution to enhance your smile. Veneers can close gaps, straighten crooked teeth, mend chips and mask stained teeth. Veneers are a thin, yet strong piece of tooth coloured porcelain that are bonded to the front of the teeth. Veneers produce a great looking and long lasting smile.
