Keep your brushing routine during COVID-19

Many of you may have had your work life, home life & school life affected by COVID-19. Routines have been thrown out the window and this can include caring for our teeth. We often see patients who tell us that holidays and weekends can see a break in their normal routine and they neglect to brush and floss their teeth.

It is so important to brush morning and night with fluoride toothpaste and remember to spit the toothpaste out and do not rinse. Cleaning between the teeth can be tricky but there many options available to make this easier such as bottlebrushes & disposable floss sticks. Floss might not always be the best option.

We do not want to see an increase in decay and gum disease at this very different time. Please take the time to take care of your teeth and more importantly please take care of yourself.
